MOVING BOUNDARIES

This article surveys the development of a Green function 
method in solving boundary-value problems of nonstationary transfer 
in a region with a moving boundary. For a uniform law of boundary 
displacement, a modification of the thermal-potential method is suggested 
that leads to analytical solutions in a new (simplest) integral form.
