Main Research Lines
- Mathematical modeling and experimental investigation of high-temperature heat transfer in flow processes and manufacturing installations (gas industrial furnaces, electric industrial furnaces, electrical arc steel-smelting furnaces, heat exchangers etc.);
- Automation of thermal operating regimes of technological devices of different functional use (automated control systems and algorithms for industrial furnaces and complicated experimental equipment);
- Engineering of modern models of industrial furnaces and high-temperature technology equipment. Engineering of additional control-measurement equipment for industrial furnaces;
- Experimental and theoretical studies of technical carbon production processes;
- Heat transfer in heterogeneous media. Study of different aspects of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis;
- Statistical physics, mainly theory of percolation and its applications;
- Engineering of highly-informative methods of thermal non-destructing testing. Thermal diagnostics of building walls and technological objects.
