FILTRATION OF A GAS LEAVING AN UNDERGROUND STORAGE RESERVOIR

The process of gas outflow from an underground storage reservoir has been modeled. The conditions for the ex- istence and the laws governing the shock wave motion have been elucidated. The results obtained (the time of complete storage discharge, the maximum gas temperature behind the shock wave) have been generalized within the framework of the similarity theory. It has been established that this temperature does not depend on the particle size and is determined by the Hugoniot relations
