INTENSIFICATION OF HEAT TRANSFER DURING BOILING AND CONDENSATION BY MEANS OF MICROAND NANOPARTICLE COATINGS

The intensifi cation of boiling and condensation heat transfer by using coatings of micro- and nanoparticles has been studied. A hydrophilic coating of nanoparticles deposited on the boiling surface reduces the thermal resistance of the thermosyphon and increases the critical thermal load in the microchannel. Dropwise condensation on a horizontal pipe is stabilized by applying a combined hydrophobic coating. A method for obtaining aluminum oxide nanoparticles and a technology of forming a nanorelief have been developed.
