DYNAMICS OF HEATING A SOLID BODY WITH THERMAL DESTRUCTION OF ITS SURFACE

Baranov UDC 536.2.083 Based on the laws governing thermal destruction and on differential transformations, a solution of the equation of heat conduction with mass entraintment has been obtained. Analytical expressions accounting for wave disturbance of the temperature field are suggested. Using an alloyed quartz glazed ceramics as an example, a good agreement between the predicted and experimental temperature fields in a wide range of mass entrainment velocities and times of heating is shown.
