Miroshnichenko UDC 536.24:674.7 + 662.998-494 A mathematical model and a numerical technique have been proposed for calculating the thermal state of a fragment of the outside log wall of a building. Temperature fields in homogeneous and inhomogeneous (filled with a warmth-keeping agent) wooden cylindrical sets at a variable heat load on the surface have been established and their comparative analysis has been performed.
