REGIMES OF GASIFICATION OF LEAN COAL LAYERS

Based on a generalized volume-average model, the regimes 
of filtration combustion in gasification of lean coal layers, which 
are of interest for evaluation of the parameters and realization of 
underground gasification of brown Belarusian coals, have been analyzed. 
The existence of two basic regimes - those of cocurrent and countercurrent 
gasification waves - has been established. Data on the characteristics 
of the regimes and the conditions of their existence have been obtained.
