ANALYTICAL DETERMINATION OF THE EQUILIBRIUM TEMPERATURE OF AN ADIABATICALLY EVAPORATING LIQUID
V. A. Maiorov UDC 536.423.1 A simple analytical expression is derived to determine the equilibrium temperature of an adiabatically evaporating liquid (true temperature of a wet-bulb thermometer). Comparison of the calculated data with well-known experimental results confirms the rather high degree of their coincidence in the entire investigated range of parameters of the process of water evaporation into a humid air flow.
