TEMPERATURE STABILIZATION OF AVALANCHE PHOTODETECTORS IN RECIRCULATION-TYPE INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Korostik UDC 621.386 The influence of the temperature on the signal-to-noise ratio in the optoelectronic recirculation circuit of an information-measuring system with an avalanche photodetector has been analyzed. It has been established that the temperature dependence of the pulse power of an injection laser has an influence on the width and position of the maximum in the temperature dependence of at the output of the photodetector in a recirculation-type system. Methods of maintenance of the avalanche multiplication factor of a photodetector at a given level have been proposed and their efficiency has been estimated.
