HEAT TRANSFER OF A SPHERE IN A CONSTRAINED FLOW OF A VISCOUS FLUID
A. Zh. Turmukhambetov UDC 536.24 Results of an experimental investigation of the average heat transfer of a sphere in the region of Reynolds numbers 0.1-40 are given. The increase in the Nusselt number with increase in the constraint parameter of flow is established. Based on the fractal theory, the influence of the degree of constraint on the heat transfer is physically explained and a quantitative correction is introduced. E. A.
