DISPERSION OF SUBSTANCES AND CALCULATION OF THE CRATER DEPTH IN HIGH-VELOCITY IMPACTS

The depth of craters formed on impact of bodies against a semiinfinite surface is calculated. The possibility of applying the results obtained to the superdeep-penetration effect is discussed.
