GAS MOLECULES IN A LAYER WITH MIRROR BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

In the present work we investigate the distribution 
of gas molecules in a layer filled with a rarefied gas. To solve the 
problem, a Boltzmann model nonstationary equation is used. The distribution 
function is found in the form of an expansion in generalized eigenfunctions 
of the corresponding characteristic equation.
