TWO OPERATING MODES OF MULTIPURPOSE VORTEX DRIERS

Motion of material is the form of a rotating annular layer
of gaseous suspension in the horizontal vortex chamber of
a multipurpose vortex drier is described within the
framework of the proposed physical model. The existence of
two operating modes of vortex driers is shown. Dependences
to determinie the holding capacity of the driers are
obtained. Results of experimental investigations are
presented.
