The article is concerned with the study of the effect
of E. S. Asmolov's corrections to Saffman's lift force for the wall
vicinity and a nonzero ratio of Reynolds numbers. It is shown in what
way these corrections change the particle paths in a Couette layer
and the conditions of deposition.
