Mossé UDC 531.4:533.9:536.45 The results of experimental investigation of the parameters of gaseous-phase synthesis of carbon nanoparticles in atmospheric-pressure arc reactors operating with mixtures of nitrogen and hydrocarbon gases have been given. It has been revealed that, under the conditions studied, arc plasma synthesis makes it possible to synthesize highly dispersed carbon products with a content of fullerene phases of up to 15 wt.% and nanotubes to 3-5 wt.%.
