Пленарные доклады обеспечиваются синхронным переводом. ТРЕБОВАНИЯ К ДОКЛАДАМ На пороге нового века уместно обсудить и критически оценить достигнутое, определить цели и поставить задачи на будущее. В программу форума в первую очередь будут включаться концептуальные доклады, содержащие новые идеи и подходы, аналитические обзоры, доклады и сообщения по ранее не опубликованным результатам. Доклады по проблемам массообмена, гидрогазодинамике, непосредственно не связанные с процессами теплообмена, а также теплофизических свойств веществ к рассмотрению приниматься не будут. ПОРЯДОК ПРЕДСТАВЛЕНИЯ И ОТБОРА ДОКЛАДОВ Конечная дата поступления тезисов (в 3-х экз., объемом не менее одной машинописной страницы), ясно отражающих содержание предлагаемого доклада (сообщения), для возможности однозначного суждения о его соответствии предъявляемым требованиям - 1 мая 1999. Извещение о результатах рассмотрения тезисов - 1 июля 1999. Конечная дата поступления докладов (сообщений) - 1 ноября 1999. Отбор проводится бюро секций, отказ не мотивируется. ИЗДАНИЕ МАТЕРИАЛОВ ФОРУМА Оргкомитет предполагает издать к форуму: сборник аннотаций на английском языке, доклады (объемом до 10 машинописных страниц) и сообщения (объемом до 5 страниц) на языке оригинала; после форума: пленарные и проблемные доклады, материалы круглых столов и дискуссий. Plenary papers will be provided with simultaneous translation. REQUIREMENTS FOR PAPERS On the threshold of the new century it is pertinent to discuss and critically evaluate the advances made, to determine the aims, and to set problems for the future. Conceptual papers containing new ideas and approaches, analytical reviews, papers and communications containing the results not published earlier will be included in the first place into the program of the Forum. The papers dealing with problems of mass transfer, hydro- and gasdynamics not associated directly with heat transfer processes, as well as contributions on purely thermophysical properties of substances will not be accepted. SUBMISSION AND SELECTION OF PAPERS Paper selection will be based upon a review of extended abstracts of approximately 500-800 words (3 copies double-spaced) which should state clearly the purpose, results and conclusions of the work with supporting figures if appropriate. DEADLINES Final date for receipt of abstracts: May 1, 1999 Acknowledgement of acceptance or rebuttal: July 1, 1999 Final date for receipt of camera-ready manuscript: November 1, 1999. PROCEEDINGS OF THE FORUM The Organizing Committee is planning to print the Programme, a volume of Abstracts in the English language; papers (maximum 10 pages) and communications (maximum 5 pages) in the original language prior to the Forum and plenary and invited keynote papers and round table discussions after the Forum. FORUM SITE Minsk, the capital of Belarus, is a modern city having a population of 1.7 million. The city is situated at a road distance of about 750 km from Moscow, the capital of Russia, about 900 km ftom St.Petersburg, the world famous beautiful city, and about 700 km from Kiev, the capital of the Ukraine. The host city Minsk is also popular for its classic Opera and Ballet theater and fine art museums. The way to come to Minsk: direct airlines from Berlin, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Prague, Peking, Shannon, Stockholm, Rome, Tel Aviv, Vienna, Warsaw; daily flights and trains from Moscow and St.Petersburg. The sessions of the Forum will be held in the Conference Halls of the Belarusian Academy Institutes located closely (within 0.2 km) at the center of the city. The participants will be accomodated in hotels neighboring with a bank, shopping center, cinema hall, bars, and a beautiful river.
