VAPOR-BUBBLE GROWTH IN A SUPERHEATED POLYMER SOLUTION

Vapor-bubble growth in a superheated polymer solution is studied. 
Superheating is achieved by a pressure drop at the initial time 
instant. The process is numerically analyzed on the basis of 
a model allowing for the formation of a thin surface layer with an 
elevated concentration of polymer around the bubble.
