We investigated the possibility of using infrared thermography
(IT) in diagnosing the commonest cardiovascular diseases:
ischemic heart disease (IHD) and hypertensive disease (HD). We
show that the IT method allows one to evaluate the condition of
peripheral blood flow, but the results of examination depend
greatly on the presence of accompanying diseases (osteochondrosis,
varicosis). The IT method is not specific enough to evaluate the
functional state of a myocardium.
