Comparative characterization is made of the efferent therapy
methods (enterosorption and ultraviolet irradiation of blood)
used in the complex treatment of patients with increased cesium
(Cs) accumulation according to the data of a human radiation
counter (HRC). It is shown that both methods are effective
for decreasing the accumulated Cs activity in a human organism.
