Multiple scattering-based methods for determination of the elementary
volume of biotissues, light pressure index, and imaginary and real
parts of the refraction index of the disperse phase of biotissues
are considered. Results of determination of optical and biophysical
parameters of blood in the normal state and in the case of pathology
are presented. Possibilities for optical tomography are discussed.
It is shown that the multiple scattering spectroscopy makes it
possible to increase the amount of biophysical information
on erythrocytes.
