BED CONSISTING OF FRAGMENTS OF A DAMAGED CORE

The steady thermal state of a deposited bed consisting of heat
-evolving particles in a volume of coolant is considered. As
a model of heat exchange in a porous medium, a one-dimensional
model of stationary effective heat conduction is adopted. An
initial differential equation with a system of boundary conditions
is solved numerically using the method of explicit separation
of phase boundaries. A computation program was developed and
numerical results were obtained for the conditions of reactor
experiments.
